Kerep

Craps all the way. Yep.

1) I bought that hot-selling Off With Those Head gel thingy. If those blackheads on my face are still there after 2 weeks, those girls at Sa Sa are soo deadddd.

2) Also bought a perfume from The BodyShop. Happyyy =) It is the second perfume that I like after Mariah Carey Luscious Pink <-- Always want to buy when I was in NZ tapi tak terbeli2 jugak. Don't know why :S

3) Suppose to update my resume & cover letter tonite. But here I am updating this crappy entry.

4) Feel like wearing skirt to work. But segan much. Haih.

5) So liking the satin shawl style by Hana Tajima. Actually I bought one *guilty-guilty*. But as usual, segan nak pakai. Adoi laa.

6) I've always admire Liverpool before. I don't watch every game, but some of them. Liverpool's performance has been up & down, they have good times & bad times. This is exactly the reason why I like them. They're really like a normal person; sometimes things just go wrong and you find yourself in a deep shit, and sometimes when you do things right, you'll move forward and have a better life. It is so realistic and heartwarming, that makes you feel attached to them. Okay those MU guys out there might just kill me if they read this. What bullshit is this woman talking about? What is this heartwarming realistic crap? Haha. Ok whatever. I've been thinking about buying woman Liverpool jersey since last week. Now that Liverpool just beat MU 3-1, I am soo going to buy it this week. Kasi panas punggung sket supporter2 MU hahaha.

7) I've kinda made up my mind. I don't know if this is the right choice to make. Actually I kinda have some visions that my life will be even worse. But yeah, whatever (yup, when I come to this stage, it really means I don't give a damn anymore. Full stop).

8) Internet here in Gombak SUCKS. Yes it sucks a lot. And in my office too. I don't have internet at office; or precisely, an E1 like me will never get the Internet connection until I become E2. Yeahh.

9) I bought this (eh berapa banyak bought daaa) book (haa bertukar la sket impression tu kan hahaha) titled 'Islam in Malaysia: Perceptions and Facts' written by Dr. Mohd Asri Zainal Abidin or Dr. MAZA. It's a really interesting book, go buy it. I actually spend more than an hour at Secret Recipe, reading this book. And I think this book is good for non-Muslim reader too, to understand about 'Islam' and 'Islam in Malaysia' better. Oh yeah, the cakes at Secret Recipe now dah tak sedap macam dulu, but the foods are good. So go to Secret Recipe but don't buy the cake, try the dishes instead. The Cordon Bleu Chicken, Prawn Pasta With...whatever...so you got my point. Owh but Chocolate Fudge & Black Forest are still ok. Yang lain-lain? Blerghh.

10) I bought (ish3) another book, titled 'The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari'. I saw this book one morning on my way to office (actually the book was displayed in one of the 'runcit' shop along my way from LRT to Tower 2). The title caught my eyes - I bought it straight away. Impulse buy haha. So far, ok la. Actually those things in this book are taught in Islam anyway. Or should I say that...it actually explained about things that we already know, in details. It somehow like, it helps us to actually 'realized' about it. So we might go 'ohh...ahhh' when we read this book. This is the impression that I got after reading like 6 chapters out of...err...who cares. As long as I finish it someday, that's good enough. The problem is that, I never really like motivational book. And this book is kind of like motivational book. So...hopefully I'll manage to finish it somehow.

11) Dua buku tak habis baca lagi, I already intend to buy another book; the famous 'Eat, Pray, Love'. I heard that the book is better than the movie. Not that I watch the movie tho. The only reason why I'm interested to buy that book is just because of the character in that story - whatever her name is - she went to India to discover about herself. Which is, the ultimate thing that I want to do in my lifetime. InsyaAllah, kalau diizinkan Tuhan. To go to the Incredible India and breath all the magnificent life & reality in her. Ohya that The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari book tu pun sama, the lawyer sold all his precious (yup obviously including his Ferrari) and go to India for some soul-searching. See? India is such a divine place. Ok please don't go 'eh apsal nak gi India plak, gi la Mekah ke, Madinah ke.." Okay I know Mekah and Madinah are divine places, Holy City and all. But is it wrong if I said India is divine too? Heck, all places in this world are Allah's creation, all of them are absolutely divine. Right? So yeah, India. Wait for me.

12) I want to write some more but I think I got to start with my resume & cover letter first. Or else it will be tertunggak & tertangguh & tertunggak & tertangguh and repeat by 100 times.

Ok bye.

Kerok Kerok Crocs

Warning: Nonsense rambling from a girl who is still in kemalasan mood after lots of lemangs and ketupats.

I never like Crocs before. It's like a lump of rubber being mould to the shape of sampan berlubang (no offense to anyone wearing Crocs ya. Citarasa kita nyata berbeza-beza, kata KRU). Hence even though there was a time when everybody was crazy about Crocs, I never once thought of buying it.

Not until I wore high heels to go beraya last Aidil Fitri, and started to feel a little discomfort. As I was a bit annoyed by the heels, I just rembat my sister's shoes and bila pakai, rasa macam, 'eh, sedap jugak pakai.' To my horror, it is Crocs. But still, the shoes feels nice.

So I asked my sister and she told me that it is the cetak rompak one, only 20hengget. Then I thought to myself, 'hmm kalau Crocs loker pun sedap pakai, Crocs ori lagi best tak? Ke Crocs loker lagi best dari ori?'

My sister said that she once tried the original Crocs and of course it feels wayyy nicer than the cheap one. Plus the fake one my sister said, it has some sort of chemical thingy inside its pad, which is not very healthy for our feet. Macam tu la lebih kurang.

Mesti korang heran kan, bunyinye macam aku ni tak pernah cuba try pakai Crocs langsung. Pernahhhh, tapi ntah la mase tu takde pulak rasa comfortable ke ape ke. Maybe mindset waktu tu kot, haha.

And then I discover these whole ranges of cute and stylish Crocs, lagi la I nak beli! Yayy! So that my kaki will not sakit-sakit lagi! Senantiasa lembut dan selesa!

Cube tengok kat bawah ni, these designs are very cute and stail:

I am sooo into the gold and white one at the bottom. But I think this range tak available lagi (kot?) kat Malaysia. Ke dah ade? Sape-sape tau sila maklumkan pada saya ya!

Ini lagi la super cute and funky. I loikeeeeeee.

So I nak beliiiiiii!!! Bak kata kawan saye, kutipan duit raya adalah exponential with umur. Dem. Takpe my mama and abah still tak bagi duit raya lagi (so busy beraya sampai terlupa nak bagi la tu. Ke buat-buat lupa?) so I plan to claim my duit raya or just force them to buy a pair of Crocs for me. Muahahhaha yes I adelah budak grad yang takde keje so tepaksa menagih simpati dari ibu bapa. Sekian.

Happy Eidul Fitri people.

assalamualaikum.

it's been a while, aye, since the last time I updated my blog with..err..something. been in final year had made me feel that I dont have enough time for everything (except commenting my friend's photo or status at Facebook, lol). Other than that, aduii... rase mcm x cukup tgn and x cukup mase jgk. i put the blame on myself. for my lack of sense of time management. and all.

i still remember the very first time i celebrated Hari Raya Aidil Fitri here in New Zealand in my first year. we actually celebrated our raya in the exam hall, answering those bloody EMTH171 exam. we went to sembahyang raya first thing first, pakai baju raya punye la warna warni, headed to exam hall and got this weird-but-funny looks from the kiwis, answered the exam's questions and went back to home (some friends went to our senior's open house, but i didnt, since i still got another exam on the next day. blurghh).

this experience was just so unfamiliar but yet so dear to me. my first time of raya in the land of sheep, far away from parents and family, and actually celebrating my raya while answering the exam's questions, meant so much to me in overall. this is, for me, the true taste of being overseas, of being studying abroad. on that day i realized how much i appreciate celebrating the raya back in my hometown, how much i miss the kunjung mengunjung, rumah terbuka and of course, the foods. i even miss main bunga api and mercun roket, the sounds of meriam buluh, takbir raya and most importantly, asking for forgiveness from my parents and sisters early in the raya's morning.

sigh.

it's been four years now since then. this year would be my fourth-time raya in Christchurch. i never feel sad to have to celebrate the raya here in NZ instead of malaysia, never did even once. because for me, my friends here are my family - we are like a very big group of family. there are plenty of open houses actually kt sini, and those rajin punye bdk2 rumah will masak lots of things like kek lapis la rendang la nasik impit kuah kacang la siap dgn kuih raya lagi. so it's not too bad aye. actually it's not too bad at all.

sembahyang raya at masjid is also one of the things that i like the most about having raya in negeri orang. there are Muslims from Iran, Oman, Africa, Nigeria, and mcm2 lagi, prayed together under the same mosque (actually outside of the mosque, on the field, sbb ramai sgt org x cukup space). but most importantly, all of us, no matter who we are, and where we came from, all united together under the name of Islam. we ask for forgiveness even though we dont really know each other, and i still remember those makcik from Oman keep on praising us Malaysian girls of how pretty our outfit were. hehe.

this year will also be my last raya in New Zealand (maybe, insyaAllah). i have a very mixed feeling about this. when i think about finally being able to celebrate raya properly with my family in Malaysia next year, i feel happy. but thinking about leaving my friends here in New Zealand behind..i really dont know what do i feel nor what should i feel right now. owh, and by the way, we celebrate our raya on Monday okay? cis cis. haha.

anyway, ape yg penting (bukan kerjasama ek. ok kerjasama penting jgk raya2 ni). but anywhoo,

enjoy raya and have a blast!

to all my friends in New Zealand, i love you guys so much. thank you for making my days in New Zealand (not only the days during raya, but my days throughout these whole 4 years) so warm, so meaningful and so... ok i lost my words now. all the good times and hardships that we've been through together, i appreciate them so much. for that, forgive me for all my wrongdoings and if u ever wronged me, i forgive you. God bless and stay friends forever.

to my family and friends in Malaysia, i miss you all. sorry if i didnt reply your YM or texts or emails. i'm just too lazy to do that. but it does not mean that i already forgetting you guys. no, never. as poyo as it may sounds, you guys will always be in my heart. always. hence do forgive me for all my wrongdoings, and hope we can meet again next year and have a blast together!

to all my readers and bloggers (ek eleh mcm ade readers je pon haha), i'm sorry if i ever hurt you with my words. sometimes words can hurt more than a knife, aye? yg baik tu datang daripada Allah, and yg buruk of course, definitely, absolutely came from me. so, zero-zero ya, people? sorry for not replying to your comments (but i read them, of course) and i appreaciated your feedbacks very very much. keep in touch and see ya guys in the next entry!

owh, and dont forget, people, our saudara in Palestin, Afghanistan, Iraq, those family yang kurang bernasib baik kat Malaysia, and heck, sume orang la, Muslims or non-Muslims in the whole world. do pray for them, and contribute by derma (money of give out your clothes yg dah tak pakai tu) or by all means that you can. well, the whole purpose of puasa is about to feel and understand the feelings of those yang kurang berkemampuan kan? so dlm raya jgn la lupa diorang pulak. mention them in your prayers. semoga bertambah keberkatan di hari raya insyaAllah.

last but not least,

Selamat Hari Raya Aidil Fitri, Maaf Zahir Batin.

selamat datang dua ribu sembilan

bismillahirrahmanirrahim

assalamualaikum warahmatullahiwabarakatuh

di sini juga, i would like to declare my love and admiration towards Laksamana Sunan. if only he really exist, i would be the first one to propose to him. or maybe i would force him to marry me. and surely as a good and respectable man, he would accept me for religious sake. or else i would cling to him like hell. and i am more than willing to face any women who dare to take him away from me. you wanna fight? oh yeah. come on. bring it on bebeh.

ehem. anyway. let us just hope for the very best in the year of 2009. insyaAllah.

wallahualam.

p/s: masih berusaha memantapkan internet. tak tahu apa cara lagi yang harus dibuat ya? hmm..
