Jovian Mandagie

I never heard of this name before, and so when my friend started to make a fuss in Facebook over a 'Boxing Day Sale', I was like, what the heck is Jovian?

And so being the normally curious me, I started to do some research on it. It led me to Jovian Mandagie Facebook page, I browsed and browsed for a while, and I was like... wait a minute, this is pretty.

Actually, these are really pretty. I browsed over his collection photos, and was jaw dropped.

Jovian Mandagie is one of the talented gems of fashion designers in Malaysia. Designing baju kurung (Malaysian traditional attire), he bring it up to the next level by jazzing it up with modern cutting, beads, lace & modern style. He produced Ready To Wear collection (usually released during Aidilfitri & Aidiladha) and also custom made outfit for wedding or special event. Looking at his collection, I can say he is among the designer known for quality and stunning design, other than big names known worldwide like Rizalman or Tom Abang Saufi.

So here's his Aviraya 2012 collection for Aidilfitri - all gorgeous and pretty! 0_0

And below is collection for AidilAdha!

And here's my own version of Jovian. I'm a Jovianista! ;)

Selamat BerJovian! =D

H&M Lot 10 : The First in Malaysia!

I was having a training today at Impiana Hotel, when suddenly I have this urge to go and buy Samsung Note (haha random, I know :P). And so when I was gliding gracefully (in a Monorel, LOL) on the way to Imbi (Low Yat) I catched a glimpse below of a hype store with bling bling signboard on it, 'H&M'! And I was like, omaigod, I had soo forgot the fact that H&M just opened its first store ever in Malaysia at Lot10!

And so after finally got myself a Samsung Note (with 4 casings altogether, sigh. But one of them I got it for free :D), I hopped in Monorel again, and on the way, I made an abrupt decision to stop at Bukit Bintang and go to H&M instead of going straight back home. That is just soo me.

So here I am, Tadaaaa!

4 tingkat wohh!

Masuk saja terus ramai orang okayy. The crowd is just - everywhere! People looking around aimlessly, this lady with 8 outfits in her arms. Not enough with two arms, shopping bag (to substitute basket) are provided to make ease the female species putting in all the clothes they wanna try (and buy! Hehe).

The crowd

There are 2 floors for ladies (aren't we special? LOL), 3rd floor for men and 4th floor for kids. Altogether there are 4 floors! Isn't that huge? 0_0 I didn't visit the men and kids section (no point anyway) and so I just wandering about the 1st & 2nd floor, looking for anything that might catch my eyes.

There are a lot of things offer - clothes, of course (top, dress, blazer, jacket, trousers, knitwear, sweater, scarf, blouse, skirt, gloves, you named it!), shoes (high heels, flats), handbags, accessories (chunky bling bling, small purse/ name tag, earrings, necklace, cuff, bracelet) - in short, all items you might think of, they will be there!

All the in-hypes!

Too many people lining up for the fitting room, and so I just being confident and gamble to buy without try it on first. I do this always. My trick is I'll just pick up the smallest size available (or any small size that looks like alright on my body) and pay. Haha.

So here's my catch :)

Peach & mint knit sweater :)

Visit H&M store at Lot 10 for a LOT of cool stuff! And here you can visit H&M website (it is not an online store however, too bad *tsk tsk*) http://www.hm.com/my/

Enjoy 'hunting!' :D
